We strongly urge all passengers to leave all electronics (laptops & phones) in the hotel safe or in the office in Manaus. You are responsible for your personal belongings, we will not be held responsible for lost or stolen items.
Hostel pick-up and departure from Manaus along the Rio Negro by speed boat to Cacau Pirera, continue to Paricatuba village reach your jungle hostel by motorized canoe. After lunch, begin your adventure with an afternoon canoe ride to fish for piranhas. Search for alligators and nocturnal animals by night.
Enjoy breakfast followed by a 2.5-hour educational jungle walk to learn about medicinal plants and the trees of the Amazon. Have lunch at the lodge and take a paddle canoe trip through small channels among swamplands.
Hike through the jungle as dawn breaks to hear jungle animals begin their day. Visit the home of a native "Caboclo" family with well-preserved traditions and a natural way of life with local farming techniques. After lunch, take a camping expedition to a family home deep in the jungle and sleep in a hammock.
Return to the jungle hostel for a fresh lunch and time to swim in the teacolored waters of the Rio Negro. Prepare your belongings for your return trip to Manaus, arriving around 5:00 pm.
