Tour Itinerary:

A thrilling adventure begins at 8:00 a.m. at the Brothers Expeditions office in Antigua. Here, you will receive your food, water, gloves, caps, and a cold-weather jacket. Backpacks and flashlights are available for rent, and the team will provide a full briefing about the tour. Afterward, we will travel to the village of La Soledad, where local Spanish-speaking guides will welcome you and explain the hike step by step. Once the briefing is complete, the hike begins—a five-hour trek to reach base camp, with scheduled stops for rest, hydration, and meals along the way.

Day 01:

  • 8 a.m. Pick you up at Antigua Meeting Point
  • 8.30 am Departure from La Antigua Guatemala
  • Equipment verification and meal delivery at Station hike
  • 10:30 a.m. Arrival at La Soledad village
  • 11 am start of the Hike
  • 13:00 Lunch
  • 4 p. m. Arrival at a camp
  • 7 p.m. Dinner

 

There is an option to hike Fuego Volcano on the first day, which involves an additional challenging 3-hour round-trip trek. Hikers who wish to participate must confirm directly with the local guide. The extra cost is Q300 per person.

Day 2:

  • 4 am Start of ascent to the summit of Acatenango
  • 5.45 am Arrival at the summit of Acatenango, Sunrise view on the summit
  • 6:30 a.m. Summit descent
  • 7:30 a.m. Breakfast at camp
  • 08:00 a.m. Team check list of hikers
  • 8:30 a.m. Start of the descent
  • 11:30 Arrival at La Soledad Village
  • 12:30 Arrival in Antigua Guatemala
