Tour Itinerary
Your exciting adventure begins with a 9:00 a.m. pickup at the meeting point in Antigua. A driver will transfer you to the hike station in Jocotenango village, where a local mother has prepared and packed your meal. At this stop, food, water, gloves, caps, and cold-weather jackets will be provided. You can also rent backpacks and flashlights, and you’ll receive a full briefing about the tour. From there, you’ll continue by shared transport to La Soledad village, where local Spanish-speaking guides will meet you. They will give step-by-step instructions and explain how the hike will be conducted. After the briefing, you’ll begin a challenging hike of approximately five hours to reach the base camp. Along the trail, there will be several stops for rest, hydration, and meals. .
Day 01:
9:00 a.m. Pick you up at Antigua Meeting Point
9.30 am Departure from La Antigua Guatemala
9:50 am Equipment verification and meal delivery at Station hike
10:30 a.m. Arrival at La Soledad village
11 am start of the Hike

Optional Activity: On the first day, there is an opportunity to hike Volcán de Fuego with an additional experience, very challenging trek of approximately 3 hours round trip. Hikers who wish to take part must confirm directly with the local guide. The extra cost for this hike is Q200 per person.

What to bring
